Joris van Goethem As one of the original members of Flanders Recorder Quartet, Joris has performed extensively throughout Europe, Japan, South America, the United States, Taiwan, Singapore and South Africa. He made numerous recordings for radio and television and record companies as Aeolus, Deutsche Grammophon, Harmonia Mundi, EMI, Opus 111, Ricercar. He has given seminars and masterclasses in all corners of the globe and has been tutor at various summercourses. His arrangements found their way to Hollywood and are also published with Heinrichshofen, Ascolta and De Haske. About the course

This course is designed for advanced players who read music fluently in both treble and bass clefs.  It is hoped that participants will be willing to play all sizes of instruments. The objective is to have fun exploring a variety of music in a friendly, lively and challenging atmosphere.

The timetable is flexible and will vary according to the needs and wishes of those attending.  The early part of each afternoon is free for relaxation, exploring Lyme Regis or informal recorder playing.

The course will start with coffee at 11.00am on Thursday 28th June and will run until lunch on Sunday 1st July.  Bed and breakfast is available on Wednesday for £20 per person, if you wish to arrive early.

Prices are as follows:

Single occupancy    £430

2 players, sharing    £340 each

Couple sharing, one playing    £555

A £90 deposit is required per person on booking, with the balance to be paid at least one month before the course.
